About
Hi, I'm Laslo.
I'm an independent iOS developer in Ukraine, and I've been building iPhone apps for more than five years. Before Hints, I built and shipped Random Reminders.
Hints started with a problem most people know. The best gift ideas come up in passing: a friend mentions the headphones that keep dying, your mum says she'd love to try pottery. By the time the birthday comes round, the idea is gone, or it's buried in a note you can't find.
Gift apps answer that with forms: a name field, a gift field, a price field. Nobody fills in a form in the middle of a conversation. So Hints takes the sentence you'd type anyway and lets Apple Intelligence do the filing.
I read every email. If something in Hints doesn't work the way you expect, write to me atsupport@tryhints.app.
What Hints stands for
It remembers, it never invents
Hints keeps the ideas people actually mention. It doesn't generate suggestions, and it never will.
Private by design
Apple Intelligence and Private Cloud Compute read your notes. There are no accounts and no Hints servers.
No forms
If saving an idea takes longer than saying it, the idea is lost. One sentence is the whole job.
